Vineyard Haven Harbormaster, 1991- 2016 (25 years)
Year round position, Supervision of up to 7 seasonal and 1 permanent employee,

• Administration, prepared and managed budget, payroll, financial reporting,
• Maintained database of 800 moorings in four mooring fields
• Administered pump out program with two pump out vessels
• Maintained three additional Town vessels, and
• Law enforcement of the major port on Martha's Vineyard

Yacht Captain, 1978 - 1990
Successful captain for 12 years on various, creweed yachts (54' to 80') in the Caribbean.

• Responsible for all activities necessary to run vessels, including:
  • Development and adherence to monthly budget projections
  • All necessary billing, accounts payable, and payroll records
  • Preparation of local and Federal documents as required by law
  • Complete responsibility of crew management,
  • Training & scheduling with the goal of achieving the highest level of guest satisfaction and safety.
